1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Nestfy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who Can Use Nestfy

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Nestfy
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. What Nestfy Is

Nestfy is a personal finance tracking tool. It helps you log, organize, and visualize your income and expenses. It is:

  • Not a bank or financial institution
  • Not financial advice — always consult a qualified advisor for financial decisions
  • Not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on data in the app

4. Your Data

All financial data you enter into Nestfy belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Settings page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Nestfy for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse the free service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to inject code

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep Nestfy running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Nestfy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, financial loss, or damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Nestfy after changes means you accept the new terms. We will update the date above when changes are made.

Summary: We collect only what's necessary to run the app. We never sell your data. You can delete everything at any time.

1. What We Collect

When you use Nestfy, we collect only the following:

  • Email address — for account authentication
  • Display name — shown in the app sidebar
  • Profile photo URL — from Google sign-in (optional)
  • Financial data you enter — transactions, budgets, goals, preferences

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Browsing history or behavior on other apps
  • Bank account numbers or real payment information
  • Any data from children under 13

3. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored securely in Google Firebase — a cloud platform by Google with enterprise-grade security:

  • Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
  • Accessible only to you when signed in
  • Protected by Firebase security rules
  • Hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the Nestfy service
  • To sync your data across devices when you sign in
  • To display your financial summaries and analytics

5. What We Never Do

  • Sell your data to anyone
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Use your financial data for profiling
  • Send marketing emails without consent

6. Third-Party Services

Nestfy uses these Google services — each has its own privacy policy:

7. Your Rights & Controls

  • Access — all your data is visible in the app
  • Export — download as CSV or JSON from Settings
  • Delete — delete all data from Settings → Danger Zone
  • Account deletion — email us and we delete everything within 7 days

8. Cookies

Nestfy uses browser local storage and Firebase session tokens to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nestfy means you accept the updated policy.
